Our Virtual School
Pupils can log on to the MLE (Managed Learning Environment) to access their year group room. In here teachers will put information regarding weekly learning, resources to support your learning and homework. Pupils passwords can be obtained from your child's class teacher. Children are encouraged to log on to the MLE to obtain homework, check messages and share their learning with their parents.
Our school subscribes to Espresso and our pupils can access this at home. You can ask your teacher for your username and password if you do not know it.
Children can also log in to Espresso Coding where they can create their own apps and play apps created by their peers. If your child does not know their password it can be obtained from the class teacher.
We now subscribe to My Maths which is an online homework and learning support website. Your child can log on to this using the username and password provided by their teacher.
Oxford Owl is a fantastic website and resource for parents to help support your children in their reading. It has over 250 e-books and many other activities. You can register with an email address to access all their resources. Click here for the website.
In order to celebrate our creative learning and school activities, St Ursula's subscribes to Signagelive. This provides us with our own online tv channel. We have screens in the reception area, in the hall and on the outside Pod by the school steps. We post some interesting videos for children to watch and also share photographs and videos to share some of the amazing activities we have been engaged within. Please click here for our TV channel.
